形態特徵

• Ascending to scandent herbs, to 100 cm tall; stems branched, angled, armed with recurved prickles.
• Leaves lanceolate, ovate to elliptic-oblong, 0.5–6 cm long, 0.8–2 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate, base truncate to weakly cordate, or subsagittate, upper surfaces glabrous to pubescent with tufted hairs, lower surface glabrous to pubescent with stellate hairs, beneath veins antrorsely prickly; petioles 0.5–2.5 cm long; ocreae tubular, 1–2.5 cm long, truncate, glabrous, upper margins ciliate.
• Inflorescences 2–4-flowered fascicles in spike-like panicles, terminal or in axils of upper leaves; peduncles glandular pubescent, 2–5 cm long; bracts lanceolate, glabrous to glandular puberulent, apex acute to acuminate, upper margins ciliate. Flowers white with purple tinge at the perianth tip; pedicels included or exserted; perianth segments 5, elliptic, 2–3 mm long, apex obtuse; stamens 8; styles 3-cleft, included; nectaries present.
• Achenes dark brown, trigonous, smooth, shining, 2–3 mm long.

分布

• 台灣 : wet places in lowlands and along streams.
• 世界 : N India, Nepal, Thailand, Russian Far East, China (except Xinjiang & Inner Mongolia), Japan and Korea.
